Membership – FAQ

Q. Do I need to become a member to enter Neo’s races or participate in training?

A. Yes. You need to become at least a Casual Member ($14 Juniors / $25 Adults), which includes your entry fee for your first day of racing. If you like it, you may wish to upgrade to Season Membership (for discounted race fees), or a Season Member + Prepaid Entries Fees (our most popular membership and best value for money).

Q. What if I’m already a member of another cycling club affiliated with Cycling NSW?

A. That’s fine. We hold our own Public Liability insurance to run our events and our membership requirement is largely for insurance purposes. Neo is not currently affiliated with Cycling NSW (CNSW) – we aim to complete that process in early 2020 – whereas most CNSW clubs rely upon CNSW’s insurance to run their events.

You can be a member of more than one club, however Cycling Australia / Cycling NSW Race Licences can only be held with a single club.

Becoming a member of Neo, to participate in our racing, does not impact your Race Licence, if it is held with another club.
