Prize money is awarded on the wheelrace in the summer track season.
In the winter road season, prize money is awarded on the criterium. Additionally, if there are more than 10 adults a prize will be awarded on the A/B handicap.

The amount distributed is dependant on the number of riders in the adult grades.

The number of adult entries will affect the number of grades contesting prize money.
Eg Fourteen adult entries will result in $110 prize money.
Additionally, the number of juniors in adult grades, if any, will be counted as half entries in an attempt to tip into the next prize category.
Eg Four juniors in the adult grades will be considered as another two adults, bringing the total adults to sixteen and a prize pool of $150.
PB Jackpot
Awarded at both road and track events.
If a rider achieves a PB in the time-trial and their name is drawn from the start list they win a prize.
Minimum prize is 1 x $20.
Maximum number of prize draws per round is three.
Jackpot increments by $10 each week.
Prize money will continue to accumulate until it is won.

Conditions
Rider should be signed-on before we upload the start list.
We upload fifteen minutes before the scheduled start.
Rider may only win one prize per round.
Rider must collect the prize in person within five minutes of the draw.
Age appropriate prize money
Riders under the age of nine receive $20 max.
Their parents receive the rest. What you do with it is up to you. Perhaps little Johnny gets to choose where you go for dinner tonight?
New Season
The jackpot will reset to $20 at the start of the new season, however it will increment each week by $20 until the pool from last season is exhausted. After that, it will revert to $10 increments.
